Giving to Christ Episcopal Church

Christ Episcopal Church is grateful for all donations to support its the mission and ministries. We are grateful for your presence, prayers, and willingness to be counted upon in these ways. You and your thanks-giving are a blessing!

In addition to leaving donations in the offering plate we offer some other options to consider for your donations:

• If you are required to make “Required Minimum Distributions (RMD’s) from retirement accounts, you may ask your plan manager to send a gift directly to Christ Episcopal Church and avoid paying capital gains taxes on those annual withdrawals. Even if you are not faced with RMD’s yet, you may still donate appreciated stocks directly to Christ Church and avoid taxes on those capital gains.

If you prefer to pay your offerings monthly, bi-monthly or weekly there are several options available:

• • It is likely that your bank or credit union will be willing to set up a free and recurring ‘bill pay’ wherein they mail a check to the church each month on your behalf.
  • Our Realm system offers the ability to have your credit card billed for your giving monthly, bi-monthly or weekly. Simply sign in to Realm and click the Giving option in the menu. If you do not have log-in information contact our office.

• If you would like to send us your pledge via IRA disbursements or gifts of appreciated stock have your management firm mail us a check as noted above. If they need further information from us, please contact our Financial Secretary.

Regardless of how you choose to give, just know that we are grateful for all the gifts you entrust to Christ Episcopal Church for our mission of growing in love with God and with our neighbors.
