Children During Worship
Nursery – Beginning at 10 a.m. we have a wonderful nursery available for children ages 0-3 that is located in the first room on the right in Day School building.
Kids’ Activity Bags – We have Kids’ Activity bags in the narthex of the Main church to help keep our young attendees occupied during the service! At the end of the service just return the bags and the supplies will be refreshed for the next Sunday.
Children’s Sunday Morning Programs
9:30 a.m. Coffee House Conversations – Children aged 5th – 8th grade along with their parents meet in Christ Church Coffee House by the Parish Hall kitchen to enjoy hot beverages & donuts while discussing a topic facilitated by a group leader.
9:30 a.m. Growing in Grace – All 9th -12th graders meet in the Room of Requirement in the Parish Hall. This class will also fulfill the preparation requirement for youth who want to be confirmed when Bishop Ruth visits.
10 a.m. Nursery – Our nursery opens at 10 a.m. and is located in the first room on the right in the Day School building.
10 a.m. Godly Play—We offer a Godly Play lesson for children ages 3 – 4th grade every Sunday at 10 a.m. in the Godly Play room in the Children’s Education wing of the Day School building (double doors furthest from the Church). Kiddos need to line up outside the Godly Play room no later than 10 a.m. to allow our teachers to provide the best experience for everyone. Your children will be brought back to church in time for Communion. Parents feel free to drop younger kiddos at the nursery and cross the Quad and join our Coffee House Conversations meet up in the Parish Hall.
Christ Episcopal Church EYC – (Episcopal Youth Group)
In addition to our Sunday Morning Formation programming we offer an Episcopal Youth Group (EYC) gathering for youth from 6th – 12th grades which meets Sunday afternoons from 5 – 7 p.m. in the Parish Hall. Fr. Brooks offers a fun format of fellowship, learning, food and prayer. The Bible Study topic for the fall will be, POV: the Jesus stories, looking at the Parables of Jesus through different lenses.
