CEC Children & Youth Choirs
Christ Episcopal Church’s children/youth choirs will start the week of September 8, 2024!
The Episcopal church has a rich musical heritage which also extends opportunities for youth and children to serve as worship leaders. CEC’s children/youth choir program will serve children from the ages of 3 through high school. Choristers will learn choral skills, musicianship, and music literacy while they learn about faith and service to God through music. They will have fun and strengthen friendships within our community.
We are making plans for 3 or 4 choirs at Christ Episcopal Church:
Cherub Choir – (K-3 and K-4) – Rehearsal Thursdays from 4 – 4:30 p.m. beginning September 12
Christ Church Day School Cherub Choir (for 4-K students enrolled in CCDS) Wednesdays, 12:35-1:05 p.m. beginning September 18
St. Nicholas Choir – (K-5 and 1st grade) – Rehearsals Thursday from 4:30 – 5 p.m. beginning September 12
St. Cecilia Choir (2nd – 4th grade) – Rehearsal Thursdays from 4:15 – 5 p.m. beginning September 12
Youth Choir (5th – 12th grade) – Rehearsal Sundays from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. beginning September 15
Choristers will sing in Church roughly one time per month from October through May.
